Click on a date of interest for brief details of some events starting on that date or click on view all to see the whole month. Features:

• You can preview a couple of days in the Select a Day to Preview panel below, or view a day, week, or month in a separate pop-up window (by clicking on the links in the 3 calendars above). Preview panel also has; day/week VCR controls, Simple search function (10 matches/90 days) and ‘Just-In’ for the latest records added.
  
• You can also use this page when not on the internet. To use this calendar off-line, save a copy from your browser’s File menu. Go to menu File: Save As (or Save Page As) and select Webpage Complete in the Save as type option. To use offline just load your saved copy back into your browser.
  Just remember to go on-line and save a new copy (every week or two) to get details on any new upcoming events.

How to Submit an Event:
If you have a community event you would like shown on-line or in print go to the Submit a Story page for details. Please use plain text complete with dates, place etc. Allow 10 to 21 days for review and edits.
Please note: Commercial for-profit events (Bars, Taverns, Art galleries, Theatre productions) are normally presented in ‘Kitchissippi Going Out’, inside your copy of Kitchissippi Times.

Submit an Image of Your Event:
If you want to give your community event more ‘visibility’ Newswest is looking for event picture banners (5:1 aspect ratio, 720 by 148 pixels) to place at the top of this calendar webpage. So if you have pictures for a coming or past event, visually appealing and suitably formatted for a banner (panoramic, mosaic, collage), send it to us. If we chose to use your banner we will add the event name, credits and overlay the Newswest Logo. We may also do other visual effects processing (color, cropping, borders...). These modified banners may appear on weeks near the event date or by season. This offer is not for normal advertising or PR material. ( Our selection criteria? Color, visual appeal, community interest, non-commerial. Banners used will become copyright Newswest.).
